Murphy, Mary Catherine (Bowen) of Needham passed away peacefully November 27, beloved wife of the late Robert S. Murphy. Loving mother of Bob Murphy and his wife Nancy of Folsom, CA, Steve Murphy and his wife Trish of Dover, Ed Murphy and his wife Sharon of Franklin, Kathi Russ of Concord, NH, and the late Rick Murphy of Nashua, NH. She was the proud grandmother of Kaitlin, Christopher, and Kyle and Nana the Great to James, Connor, Taylor, Max, Parker, and Spencer.
Her love of family and positive attitude was a gift she gave to all.
A Funeral Mass was held at St. Bartholomew Church Needham followed by interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Needham and a family celebration to honor her life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Perkins School for the Blind at www.perkins.org.
