Linda Mae Martin, 77, of Derry, NH, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021, in Parkland Medical Center, Derry, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Pepperell, MA on December 9, 1943, a daughter of the late Clearance and Arlene (Gillogly) Blood.
Linda was an active member of the Christian Fellowship Baptist Church. She was an avid book-reader. Her favorite author being Colleen Hoover (as of late). She also enjoyed crocheting and gifting her friends and family with her beautiful creations. She was always there whenever anyone needed her and she made tremendous impacts in all of the lives she touched.
As said by Emily Dickinson, a poet from Amherst, Massachusetts in the 1800s, “Unable are the loved to die, for love is immortality”.
She is survived by her son, George A. Martin; daughter in-law, Lisa Martin; two grandchildren, Alexis and Zachary; sister, cousins, and several nieces and nephews. Linda was predeceased by her loving husband, George H. Martin and brother, William Blood.
Following cremation, there will be no services scheduled at this time. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is assisting the family with arrangements.
