Holden: Linda I. (Dimmick) Armey Cronin, 75, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Linda leaves her husband James M. Cronin; sons Douglas P. Armey and his wife Maureen McGuinness Armey of Holden and Richard W. Armey of Auburn; grandchildren Ashlee, Katlyn and Tyler Armey; step daughters Elizabeth and Anne Marie Cronin; a sister Judith Bush of FL; a sister-in-law Sara Dimmick of Maine; 4 nephews and 1 niece. She also leaves her large group of friends, including the lifelong friend Jan Foster, her grammar school friends, her high school friends, and her card playing friends. She was recently predeceased by her brother Kenneth Dimmick.
Linda and Jim recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary this past October.
Linda was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Frank and Mary (McKinley) Dimmick. She graduated from South High School and worked as the head banquet waitress at Wachusett Country Club for many years. She retired from Lutco Company. Linda was an avid card player. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
According to Linda's wishes there are no services at this time. Burial and committal will be held at a later date. Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester is assisting the family with arrangements.
