Obituary

Aubrey James “A. J.” Nichols, 19, of West Berrien passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021 in Colquitt County. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 29, 2021, at Oaky Grove Church in Berrien County with the Rev. Garvie Nichols Jr. and the Rev. Brian Watson officiating. A. J. will be laid to rest at Oaky Grove Church Cemetery in Berrien County. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 28, 2021, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. A. J. will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.

Henry Nichols Jr., Carl Schow, Darrell Hall, Jonathan Nichols, David Nichols, Joe Grant, Kyle Walker and David Bennett, Jr. will serve as pallbearers.

Born August 10, 2002, in Adel, A. J. was the son of the late James Harvey and Rose Ellen Nichols, Hope Hall of Nashville and David Bennett Sr. of Adel. He loved fishing and being outdoors and he enjoyed playing video games. He never met a stranger and was loved by many.

In addition to his parents, A. J. is survived by five sisters, Melanie Magdalene Schow of Cartwright, Tennessee, Stephanie Aline Yarbrough of Summerville, Linda Hall of Nashville, Kayla Watson of Bogart and Cynthany Stine of Pennsylvania; and two brothers. Lee Hall and David Bennett Jr., both of Nashville.
