WORCESTER__Janine V. Kudron-Penny, 50, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Mark S. Penny; her father, Raymon P. Kudron of Worcester; her sisters, Donna M. Joppas and her husband, Gary; and Lisa A. Kierstead of Worcester; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, Christine D. (Kimbar) Kudron.
Janine was born in Worcester, graduating from St. Mary’s Jr/Sr High School in 1988. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and a Master’s Degree in teaching from Worcester State College. After her studies, she worked at Training Resources of America as a GED teacher for many years. She then went on to work at YOU, Inc and most recently worked as a Security Officer at Allied Universal.
She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, where she was, past secretary, management head and currently Vice-President. She spent many hours volunteering her time at her church. She loved reading books about spirituality and theology. She also enjoyed spending time landscaping around her home. She loved animals especially cats.
A Committal Service will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 10:30am in Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum, 162 Webster Street, Worcester. There are no calling hours. Masks and social distancing will be required. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association, P.O Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
