Obituary

Sheila Belle (Bloom) Scholl of Lynn originally from Chelsea passed away on Wednesday, November 24th, 2021. Loving wife of the late Edgar Howard Scholl. Devoted mother of the late Alan J. Boyer. Cherished stepmother of Kiff Scholl, Rob Scholl and Vivienne Scholl. Dear sister of Evelyn Platek of Ithaca, NY. Loving grandmother of Jesse S. Boyer of Andover and Adam Boyer (wife, Deborah Boyer) of Franconia, NH. Loving great-grandmother of Anabel and Noah Boyer of Franconia, NH. Sheila attended Boston Conservatory and sang jazz professionally in her youth, at one time performing with Sammy Davis, Jr. She owned a vintage costume shop in Ithaca, NY and was beloved by the Cornell students. When she returned to the Boston area, she sold real estate on the North Shore and planned weddings and functions at Lombardo’s. In her later life, Sheila taught herself to play the piano and played solo performances at Border’s Books, the JRC in Swampscott and other senior events. She also enjoyed painting, embracing Impressionism, and furthered her skills by taking classes at the Peabody Essex Museum through the senior program. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 30th at 11AM at the Ohel Jacob Cemetery-122 Central Street, Woburn, MA 01801. Relatives and friends invited to attend.
