Elizabeth A. (Hallisey) Reagan 88, of Franklin, passed away peacefully, Thursday November 25, 2021 at Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Wrentham, following a long illness.
Born March 10, 1933, in Boston a daughter of the late George and Genevieve (Judge) Hallisey, she was a longtime resident of Franklin.
She was raised and educated in the Jamaica Plain section of Boston, and was a devoted wife and mother. After raising her children she attended Quinsigamond Community College, where she received her nursing degree in 1976.
Elizabeth worked as a registered nurse at hospitals and retired from the Visiting Nurse’s Association.
She was so proud of her family, especially her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time at the beach, traveling, playing cards and hosting her famous family cookouts where everyone would enjoy the pool.
Elizabeth is survived by her children, Stephanie L. Keady and her husband John of Milford, Kevin D. Reagan, Jr. and his wife Susan of Franklin and Mark E. Reagan and his wife Christine of Groveland, a brother, George Hallisey of Tewkesbury MA, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was the mother of the late Michael S. Reagan and sister of the late Genevieve Matthews, Nancy DiBendetto, Steven Hallisey and Brenda Darcy.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours Friday Dec. 10th, in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. from 9:30-11AM.
A funeral home service will follow at 11AM.
Her interment will be held privately.
