Yvonne M. Mannone, 62, died at the Beth Israel Hospital on Saturday April 15, after a courageous and long battle with leukemia.
She was the daughter of the late Mary (Turco) and Frank Mannone. Yvonne was a life long Medford resident and a graduate of Medford High School. She was formerly employed at The Coast Guard Credit Union and for many years worked at the Medford Bridal Shop. Most recently she worked at the Brookline Community Bank and at Sears Robuck Company. She was dedicated to her faith, church, family and friends and she was a avid sports fan especially for the the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. She also enjoyed walking as many people could see her all around the City of Medford.
She leaves her two brothers, Francis A, Mannone of Westford, Dennis A. Mannone and his wife Janice of Hudson. Her nephews Dennis Mannone Jr. and his wife Kimberly, David and Andrew Mannone. Her niece Sarah Mannone and two great nieces Kenzie and Macie Mannone.
She also leaves her beloved aunt Vera (Turco) Presutti of Medford and her cousin David Presutti and his wife Loretta of Natick. She is further survived by many loving cousins.
Her funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford on Friday, April 21, at 8 a.m., followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St. Medford-Somerville at 9. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting Hours Thursday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery. Medford.
