Frances Crozier, 91, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Friday, November 26, 2021, at Irwin County Hospital in Ocilla, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Monday, November 29, 2021, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Donald Woeltjen officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Rebecca, Georgia. The family will receive friends Sunday evening, from 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Ms. Crozier was born June 18, 1930, in Rebecca, Georgia, to the late Clarence Hobson & Minnie Lou Evans Murray. She worked with disabled children with the State of Georgia. She loved to garden, listen to gospel music, loved babies and read her bible. Ms. Crozier was also a Pink Lady at Dorminy Medical Center and was a beloved mother. She was a member of the Fitzgerald Church of God.
She is survived by her children: Judy Lewis of Athens, Deborah Crozier of Tifton, Donna Pate of Cordele and Randall Crozier of Groveland, Florida; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Barbara Woeltjen and Minnie Ruth Coker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and six sisters.
