Michael Lee Baker
November 4, 1946- November 25, 2021

Michael Lee Baker finished his journey in this life to heaven on November 25th at age 75. He was born to John and Joan Baker, November 4, 1946.

Mike attended Middletown High School, joined the U.S. Army in 1967, served in Vietnam, and was Honorably Discharged in 1969.

He owned and operated two gas stations in Anderson and Mike’s Auto Service in Chesterfield. He retired in 2018 and passed his shop onto his sons.

His favorite things to do were showing off his 1955 Dodge at car shows, riding his Harley with close friends and the American Legion Riders, and buying and selling cars.

A friend to all, Mike’s laugh was contagious and he was sure to make you smile. His family meant the world to him and he rarely missed a family event. Surrounded by his family, Mike let it be known that he accepted Jesus into his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Joan, his son Michael Jr., and great grandbaby Zayden.

Those left to cherish him in memory include his Children Robbie and P.J. Baker, Leslie (Mike) Crouse, Liz (Rob)Allard. Grandchildren: Austin (Hannah), Gabe, and Bella Crouse, Alexis and Maya Allard, Brooke and Justin Baker, and Jessica Caudill Siblings: Bonnie (Pete) Linn, Pat (Gary) Paschal, David (Brenda) Baker; eight nieces and nephews who loved him dearly; Close friends Kenny, Neil, Arlene, and many more.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Brad Fox of Tabor Church officiating. Burial will be in Marion National Cemetery with military rites at a later date.

Visitation will be from 11:00am - 1:00 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
