It is with deep sadness that the family of Peter "Craig" Levesque announces his passing on November 21, 2021, at age 61. He is the youngest of seven children of John Edward Levesque and Jeannette Rose Menard Levesque.
Craig graduated from Rutgers University and had a well-established career with AIG Global Quality Assurance in New York City.
Professionally and recreationally, Craig traveled extensively and embraced the qualities of diverse cultures and traditions. He was a long-time advocate of inclusive diversity, and discrimination had no place in his heart. Part of the 911 dust cloud, Craig reacted in his typical way to help shelter those in danger.
An avid hockey player and accomplished skater, Craig often flew around cities and ponds on rollerblades and skates. Being struck in the forehead by a flying pigeon and threatened with a speeding ticket highlighted the experience.
His thirst for knowledge, as an erudite at heart, resulted in a treasure house of disorganized book collections, news articles, and illegible handwritten notes.
He left heartbroken and extremely proud his wife, Jane Levesque, four children: Kristen, Cori, Alexis, and Rebecca; nine grandchildren; brothers and sisters; nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 2, from 11:00AM to 1:00PM in Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, Webster MA.
