After a long and difficult battle with Alzheimer’s Disease, Linda Lee Regan passed away peacefully on November 19, 2021 at the age of 73.
Born in New York to Mable and Alfred Lee, Linda was always described as a compassionate, creative, resourceful, popular, witty, and above all things, a loyal friend.
As a child, Linda attended Katonah Day Damp, where she loved swimming and water skiing. As a young woman, she was a candidate for Campus Queen at John Jay High School in Cross River, New York, from which she graduated in 1966. Years later, Linda was reacquainted with her childhood friend, Brian Regan, whom she married after a brief courtship. After focusing on motherhood for some years and settling down in Ridgefield, Connecticut Linda went back to work at a local elementary school. Sufficed to say, the children at the school loved “Mrs. Regan”.
Linda was the heart and soul of her family and the selfless force that held them together. A comedian, chef extraordinaire, handyman, nurse, uncertified psychologist, party planner, interior designer, among many other things, all rolled into one. Her presence will be forever felt by those fortunate enough to have known her.
Linda was predeceased by her brothers ‘Chip’ and Malcolm Lee. She is survived by her sons Matthew and Nicholas; her sister, Cameron; and the father of her children, Brian.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Linda’s name to The Alzheimer’s Association www.alz.org. Services will be held on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at 1:00 pm in the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington St. Canton MA. Visiting hours prior from 11:00-1:00.
