Theodore "Teddy" Sakas, 88, of New Bedford passed away Friday, November 19, 2021.
Born in Lowell, MA, he was the son of the late James and Panoula (Spheris) Sakas.
He attended the Project Independence Day Program.
Teddy was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.
He is survived by his friends and caregivers, Helen Fonteneau and Roberta Goyette, as well as his extended family from Better Community Living.
His funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 11 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Visitation will be held from 10-11 AM, prior to the service. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. For directions and guestbook, visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
