BOSTON – Loi Yee “Nancy” Mui, age 62, beloved mother and sister, passed away on November 14, 2021. She was born in Hong Kong, November 21, 1958, daughter of the late Hoy Fung and Yu Kuk Mui, has been a lifelong Jamaica Plain resident. She attended Boston Public Schools at the Francis Parkman and Jamaica Plain High School and worked as a sales associate for Zayre and Ames retail stores.
Nancy enjoyed shopping, particularly souvenirs. But her true love was in cinema where she amassed a collection of movies, TV shows and music albums. She also enjoyed time with friends and family in Jamaica Plain as well as her relatives in Cranston, Rhode Island. Some of her favorite activities were apple picking, playing mahjong, and spending quiet time talking with friends and family.
She is survived by her two sons Kevin and Robert; two brothers Michael and Barly; sister-in-law’s Debbie and Takako; nieces and nephews Cindy, Emily, Brandon, and Teresa.
Visiting hours at the Brady & Fallon Funeral Home, 10 Tower St. (Opp. Forest Hills MBTA Station) Jamaica Plain on Saturday, December 4, 2021, from 10 am to 12 pm. The funeral procession will depart the funeral home at 12 pm, travel through Boston's Chinatown and then to Forest Hills Cemetery for interment services.
