Pauline (Levasseur) Audette died November 19 at the age of 99. She was born in Peabody, MA on June 11, 1922, to Alphonse and Alberta (Rheaume) Levasseur. Pauline was the sister of the late Roland Levasseur. She spent her childhood in Danvers, and after marrying her beloved spouse, Roland, on May 18, 1946, she lived in Salem for 50 years. Following Roland’s death in 1996, she lived in Newbury, Salisbury, and Amesbury.
After graduation from Danvers High School, Pauline attended nursing school at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Lowell, MA. She pursued her nursing career at Boston Lying-in Hospital (known today as the Brigham and Women’s Hospital) and also at Salem Hospital. One of Pauline’s proudest accomplishments was her career as a Registered Nurse, and she loved working in the maternity ward.
Pauline is survived by her four children: Richard and his wife Suzanne (Pope), Magnolia; Roger, Beverly; Denise, Newburyport; Mark and his wife Tara (Thompson), Salisbury. She was the proud grandmother of Gary and his wife Aimee (Baysinger); Adam and his wife Katie (Russo); Conrad and his wife Gena (Bevilacqua); and Carling. She was preceded in death by her grandson Keith. She has two great granddaughters, Alexandra (Allie) and Sydney. She was known fondly to her grandkids as “Mem,” which then became her nickname from so many others. Pauline’s love for her family was unending. She was an avid knitter and loved knitting sweaters for her grandkids.

Pauline will be interred at St. Mary’s Cemetery alongside the love of her life, Roland. Funeral services will be private.
