Obituary

Northborough/Boylston: Theodore "Ted" Barber, 81, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 19, 2021 in Beaumont Nursing Center. His wife Jane (Howland) Barber predeceased him. He leaves a son Stuart Barber and his wife Karen of Boylston and a grandson Cameron Barber.

Ted was born in Boston, son of the late Guy and Clara (Nelson) Barber. He graduated from Stoughton High School and proudly served his country in the US Air Force. He worked as a manager at D' Angelo's Restaurant for many years. He was a member of the American Legion Ray Stone Post in Shrewsbury and the 8 point Sportsman Club in Sterling. Ted spent his retirement years volunteering with Massachusetts Fish and Game with the Angler Education Program as a fishing instructor.

A graveside service and burial will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. There are no calling hours. Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ted's memory may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
