Obituary

Philip S. Gelineau 76, of Franklin died peacefully on November 17, 2021, at Milford Regional Medical Center.

Phil is survived by his wife Henriette Gelineau with whom he shared 47 years of marriage, his son Christopher Gelineau, his daughter in law Katie Gelineau, his two grandchildren Carmella Ceddia and Lillian Gelineau, his twin brother and his wife Paul and Karen Gelineau, his brother David Gelineau and his wife Mary “Bunny” Gelineau, and his sister Barbara (Gelineau) Huissen.

Born October 1st, 1945 in Cambridge Massachusetts, a son of the late Raymond and Lillian Gelineau, he was a resident of Franklin for over 40 years where he lived his life as a carpenter.

Phil was preceded in death by his son Eric Gelineau, his son Paul R. Gelineau, his brother Joseph Gelineau, and his brother Donald Gelineau.

Phil was a devoted husband, father, friend, and coach. He loved his family well and treasured his time at the coffee shop with is best friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Tuesday Nov. 23rd, at 9AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Franklin at 10AM.

Interment with military honors will follow at the parish cemetery.

Calling hours are Monday from 4-7PM.
