Charlotte L. (Christopher) Holmes, 77, of Fairhaven passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021 at St. Luke's Hospital. Born in New Bedford, she was daughter of the late Samuel and Elizabeth Christopher. Prior to retirement, she was a respiratory therapist at St. Luke's Hospital for 30 years. She loved floating in the pool, beautiful flowers, chocolate, reading a good book, music, laughing, dancing, telling stories, the Red Sox and watching Jeopardy with Patricia. Charlotte enjoyed sailing with John in Marblehead and visiting her daughter and her family in Florida.
She is survived by a daughter: Kathleen E. Kruse and her husband Chuck of Lehigh Acres, FL; a brother: David Christopher of New Bedford; 2 grandchildren: Jacob and wife Sam and Jared; 3 great grandchildren: Tinsley, Levaylee and Jaxson; and her best friend Patricia Young of Acushnet.
She was the loving partner of the late John Webster, III, her soul mate.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Crapo Unit at St. Luke's Hospital for their wonderful and compassionate care and also a thank you for all the friendships she made at the ATRIA of Fairhaven.
A memorial mass will be announced at a later date.
