Louise A. (Riel) Skliut, 92, of Worcester died Wednesday, November 17th in St. Francis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She leaves a sister, Sandra Farrell of Oxford; two grandchildren; a great grandson; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons, Steven J. Skliut and Benjamin J. Skliut; a daughter, Cheryl A. McGrath; two brothers, Donald Riel and Kenneth Riel; a sister, Annemarie Riel; and her longtime companion, Frank Ricci.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Clarence and Adolpha (Jerszyk) Riel and graduated from the former High School of Commerce. Louise was a devout member of St. John’s Church and worked as a bookkeeper for many years.
Her funeral service will be held on Monday, November 22nd at 11:00 a.m. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
