Eric Michael Birdsall, 43, formerly of Cambridge and Brockton, passed away on November 13, 2021. Born in Brockton, MA to Stephen M. and Jo-Ann M. (Donovan) Birdsall on June 12, 1978, Eric attended Brockton Schools and graduated from Cardinal Spellman High School in Brockton, where he participated in the Theater Arts Program. He also attended New England Institute of Art and Binghamton University in New York.
Eric was formerly employed by Boston Scientific. He was a prolific writer and was a producer, writer, film maker and actor at Darsan Films. Eric was a voracious reader and could discuss or debate anyone on any topic. He was intelligent, gregarious and affable. Eric was also a devoted fan of all Boston and New England sports teams, especially the Patriots and the Revolution.
Eric leaves his mother Jo-Ann M. (Donovan) Birdsall, his aunts and uncles: John Vujnovich of Des Moines, Iowa, Louise (Vejnovich) Slack of Iowa, Janis Krechter of California, Mary Paris and the late David Paris of Halifax, MA, Deborah Pullia and the late Salvator Pullia of Brockton, Patricia and Hugh Mac Kinnon of Bridgewater, and Nancy and Paul Kerrigan of Hanson as well as many cousins. He was predeceased by his father Stephen M. Birdsall, his sister Jenna L. Birdsall, his grandparents John and Clara Vujnovich, Martha and Ralph Leach and George and Mary Donovan and his aunt Cristy Brewer.
Visitation for Eric will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 2:00PM at the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street, Brockton, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name can be sent to the Donovan-Sheehan Family Scholarship c/o Cardinal Spellman High School, Office of Development, 738 Court Street, Brockton, MA 02302-2898. Interment will be at a later date.
