Ruth (Cuzzone) Garvulenski, age 95, passed away on November 16, 2021 in Holyoke. She was born on June 9, 1926 in Holyoke, a daughter of the late Raymond and Nellie (Krawiec) Cuzzone. Ruth worked as a hairdresser for the Modern Beauty Salon for many years before she retired. She spent over 30 years traveling to their beloved home in Dennisport, MA. Ruth embodied passion, loyalty, beauty, thoughtfulness and unconditional love. She lived a life rich in meaningful lessons she passed along to her family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband of 75 years, John Garvulenski of Chicopee; her son Mark Garvulenski of Southwick; her daughter Lois Roufogalis of Chicopee; one brother Joseph Cuzzone and his wife Jacki of Lakeland, FL; two grandchildren, Amber Leonard and her husband Jason and Andrea Roufogalis and her husband James Sheldon along with her great grandchildren Zoey and Lucas; and her best friend Dottie. She is predeceased by her brother Raymond Cuzzone, her sisters Louise Powers and Gladys Warren, and her son-in-law Bill Roufogalis. Calling hours will be held on the morning of the funeral, Monday, November 22, 2021 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee with an in house Prayer Service at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in St Stanislaus Cemetery.
