Meegan Britt Phillips Fussell, 49, of Irwin County, Georgia, died Sunday, November 14, 2021, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Sunday, November 21, 2021, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Gene Force officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from, 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Fussell was born April 7, 1972, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Connie Adamson Phillips and the late Johnny Lee Phillips. She lived in the community all of her life. Mrs. Fussell was a lifeguard at Crystal Lake, a secretary for Pioneer Housing and worked in medical records for Tift Regional Medical Center.
She is survived by her husband, Chris Fussell of Irwin County; a son, William Shannon Phillips of Irwin County; her mother, Connie Adamson Phillips of Irwin County and a half-brother, Roy Matthew Phillips of Gadsden, Alabama.
