Obituary

Boylston- Clifford F. McDonald,84, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at UMass Memorial Medical Center. His beloved wife of 59 years, Rose M. (Senecal) McDonald predeceased him in March. He leaves behind a son David McDonald and his wife Hatsue of Boylston; two grandchildren- Nina and Stephanie McDonald; two great-grandchildren- Aidan Carreau and Aviana Ferrer; siblings Lois Paige and Clayton McDonald; and several nieces and nephews.

Cliff was born in Worcester, son of the late Roswell and Virginia (Germain) McDonald. He graduated from Worcester Boys Trade High School and proudly served his country in the US. Marines. He worked as a Laboratory Technician at the Worcester Foundation for Experimental Biology and was a member of St. Mary of the Hills in Boylston. He was an avid reader who also enjoyed playing the organ and fishing. Clifford was always willing to help family and friends, and spent most of his free time with his grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

A calling hour will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 9:30-10:30am at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Worcester, MA. A funeral Mass will follow at 11am at St. Mary of the Hills, 630 Cross Street, Boylston, MA. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Boylston.
