Aldora “Dora” (Nasuti) Sacchetine 94, of Franklin, passed away peacefully, Sunday November 14, 2021 at Cape Regency Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, following an illness. She was the wife of the late Mario P. Sacchetine, who died in 1971.
Born October 21, 1927, in Franklin, a daughter of the late Sabatino and Mary (Mucciarone) Nasuti, she was a proud lifelong resident of Franklin.
She was raised and educated in Franklin, then attended Henry O Peabody School in Norwood and became a beautician. Dora started her career and practiced her craft at Jordan Marsh in downtown Boston; she was the co-owner of the Oasis Beauty Salon and then the sole owner of Dora’s Beauty Boutique in Franklin, where she worked happily into her 70’s.
She enjoyed spending time with her family on Cape Cod, exercising, traveling and was active at the Franklin Senior Center where she enjoyed spending time with her friends. She had also been a member of the Walking Club and the Widow’s Group.
She is survived by a daughter Paula M. Pollard and her husband Frederick of Sandwich, grandchildren, Natasha Monahan and her husband Brendan of Cumberland, RI, Peter Pollard and his wife Lysandra of Mansfield, and great grandchildren, Lily, Nolan and Liam.
Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
She was the mother of the late Diane Sacchetine, and sister of the late Anthony, & Lawrence Nasuti, Lucy Balcewicz and Louise Clifford.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours Saturday Nov. 20th, in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. from 9-10:30AM.
Her funeral Mass will follow at 11AM at St. Mary’s Church, Franklin.
Burial will take place at the parish cemetery.
