Marion W. Carter
Longtime Tewksbury Resident
TEWKSBURY: Marion W. “Sis” (Ryan) Carter, age 85, a resident of the Carnation Drive Community, passed away at home on Saturday, November 13, 2021.
Born in Woburn on July 14, 1936, she was the daughter of the late John and Marion (Ingersoll) Ryan.
Marion was raised in Woburn and graduated from St. Charles Parochial High School. In addition, Marion received certification from Lawrence Vocational School as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant, as wells as training in Food Service and as a Manicurist.
Prior to her retirement, she worked as the manger for the former Glenview Restaurant in Chelmsford.
According to Marion, she was blessed with two great daughters, who gave her wonderful grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Marion enjoyed gardening and hunting for bargains at yard sales.
She is survived by her two daughters, Renee Reddin and Colleen Carter. Marion was the grandmother of John Carter “CJ’ Reddin, Leah Jones, and the late Kenneth and Raymond Reddin. She was the great grandmother of Harley and Charlotte Reddin.
Marion also leaves many extended family members and friends
