Carole S. Fongemie, 78, of Derry NH, died Saturday November 13, 2021 at the Merriman House in North Conway, NH. Carole was born in Manchester, England and came to America on the Queen Mary during World War II. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Alice (Hollowood) Staunton. Carole will be remembered as a giving person and was very kind and loving to all animals.
She is survived by her two sons, Jeffrey and Paul Fongemie, as well as six grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Reno Fongemie in 2004, and her three sisters Peggy, Pat, and Bea.
Following cremation, a calling hour will be held on Monday, November 22nd from 10 - 11am in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A memorial service will follow at 11:00am in the funeral home. The family requests masks to be worn for all attendees. The burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery in E. Derry.
