Michael Lynn Liles, 76, of Anderson, died November 10, 2021 at Community Hospital after an extended illness.
Michael was born June 16, 1945 in Lansing, Michigan, the son of Earl and Doris (Sparkes) Liles.
He served in the United States Army. He attended two years of college and was the director of nutrition and food services at St. Vincent Hospital in Anderson for more than 30 years before retiring.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Ida (Salazar) Liles of Anderson, whom he married March 3, 1980 in Lansing, Michigan; son, Cory (Amber) Liles of Fortville; daughter, Shauna Liles of Fortville; brother, Tom Liles of Michigan and sister, Connie Lansdell of Georgia; two grandchildren, Pierce and Piper Liles; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gary Liles.
A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
