Louise Flaherty, 77, of Franklin unexpectedly passed away in the comfort of her own home on November 13th, 2021.
Louise was born on October 15, 1944 to Arthur and Jeanne Ceccarelli in Southbridge, Massachusetts. Louise left school early to help care for her brother, Dennis and to earn extra money for the family. She was a beautician for several years, and later took courses at Dean College.
Louise had several jobs, but one career. She worked as a secretary for a Gynecology Practice at Dedham Medical and went on the be the Office Manager at Gynecology Partners, PC in Weston for 20 years where she worked for three amazing women that loved and respected her. She was the hardest worker and always went the extra mile.
In 2012, Louise retired so that she could spend more time with her grandchildren.
To know Louise was to love her. Louise’s family meant the world to her and she was never happier than when she was surrounded by them all. Many summer days were spent on Craigsville beach where Louise loved to relax and share stories with her children, grandchildren and friends. She also loved to eat from the Snack Bar and stop to get candy from the Candy Store.
Louise enjoyed watching the Food Network and loved to find new recipes. She was always excited to get her grandchildren to try something new. They all new that “Grammie” had the best snack cabinet.
Louise’s best companion was her dog, Bailey, and she loved to share silly stories about things Bailey did to make her laugh.
Some of Louise’s favorite memories included spending endless nights with her Eagle Drive Family. Cookouts that turned into sleepovers, beach trips, Webster Lake were just some of the things she enjoyed with this amazing group of people she was lucky enough to call family.
Later in life, after selling the family home, Louise moved to Hopkinton to Apple Tree Hill Condominiums and enjoyed being the Condo Association President for several years, prior to moving back to Franklin to live with her youngest Daughter and her family. While in Hopkinton, she became fast friends with a lovely and super fun group who welcomed her into their lives and gave her some of the most fun years of her life.
Louise was a caring, giving soul and dedicated her entire life to being there for others. She was the strongest woman you’ve ever met, and loved her family and friends fiercely. Louise was also one of the funniest people you’d ever meet – she loved laughing and making others laugh. Louise is leaving a hole that will never be filled in so many lives. We are all heartbroken over the loss of this incredible woman.
