LEICESTER: John M. Missiewicz, 53, of White Birch Street died Saturday, November 13 after being stricken ill in his home.
He leaves his wife of 28 years, Sharon M. (Phelan) Missiewicz, two sons Thomas J. and John M. Missiewicz of Leicester. He was born in Worcester, son of the late John and Nora F. (Reidy) Missiewicz. He was predeceased by a brother William Missiewicz.
John graduated from St. Mary's High School in Worcester, He was a crane operator at Central MA Crane in Leicester for many years. He was a member of the Leicester Rod & Gun Club. He enjoyed snowmobiling, riding motorcycles and car restoration.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 17 from MORIN FUNERAL HOME. 1131 Main Street, Leicester with a Mass at 11:00 AM in St. Pius X Church, 1153 Main Street, Leicester. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are Tuesday, November 16 from 4:00-7:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
