Yolanda T. Boyle, 94, of Franklin, passed away on November 9, 2021, of natural causes with her son by her side.
She was born to the late Galliano and Emma Gazzola on August 28, 1927, in Franklin, Massachusetts.
She had one sister, the late Mabel F. Patterson.
Yolanda graduated from Franklin High School in 1945.
She married the late Frederick T. Boyle on September 25, 1949 and continued to live in Franklin as a lifelong resident.
Yolanda is survived by her only son, Frederic G. Boyle and his wife Leslie of South Yarmouth. She is also survived by her three nieces and their families. Yolanda was predeceased by her loving husband in 2007.
Yolanda retired from Crosby Valve and Gage in Wrentham, Mass. after over 30 years of loyal service as a supervisor of data processing. Later in life she worked part time at the Franklin Library.
She was an avid reader, loved to travel, and enjoyed morning coffee with her friends. She liked lemon deserts and was a fan of Catholic TV. She liked using the computer to search for coupons and enjoyed corresponding with friends and family via email. She was immensely proud of her son and loved spending time with her grand dog Jaymee.
Per her request, the service will be held privately at the Bourne National Cemetery where she will be buried with her husband.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to cancer research.
