Paul M. Mitchell of Medford passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. He was 69 years old. Born in Cambridge, Paul was the beloved son of the late Robert and Pauline (DiBiase) Mitchell.
Prior to his retirement, Paul was employed by MIT University as a Housing Supervisor. He was an associate member of the American Legion-Post 45 of Medford.
Paul was the dear brother of Lorraine R. Martins and her late husband Richard of Watertown, Nancy A. Ciccariello and her husband Patsy of Stoneham, Robert S. Mitchell and his wife Paula of Coca, FL, Joseph F. Mitchell and his wife Laurie of Kennebunkport, ME, his twin sister Susan M. Luongo and her late husband Bobby of Medford and the late Dennis J. Mitchell of Medford. Paul is also survived by his cousin and dear friend William "Billy" DiBiase of Woburn and many loving nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Monday, November 15, from 1-3PM followed by a funeral service in the funeral home beginning at 3PM. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Road, Waltham, MA. 02452.
Interment will be private.
