Obituary

Robert Mark Hollins (Bob), Age 65, late son of Rita and Harold Hollins, predeceased by sister Nancy Swift. Robert was born on St. Patrick's Day in 1956 in Fall River, Massachusetts, died peacefully surrounded by friends and family in his beloved home in Westport.

Survived by his companion Deborah Bastoni, daughter Heather Hollins, grandson Nolan Stuttard and two nieces Karen Swift and Laura Miller.

Having a love for the water started at a very young age and he grew that passion into his career. Patrolling Westport Town Beach as a lifeguard with his dog Goldie in his teenage years, going to college in Florida for engineering and joining the Merchant Marines as a Radio Officer traveling the world.

Upon retirement from his ship, he started his own company teaching computer programs and doing thing that only few would really understand. Bob was a man of vast knowledge and skill, he could fix or build anything. He was a great friend, father, neighbor and grandfather.

Bob's love for outdoor adventures, skiing, boating, fishing and hunting will always be remembered. He loved his dogs Goldie, Scupper and most faithful dog Lucy, he is resting peacefully with them all.

Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at the Potter Funeral Home at 10:00 A.M.

Calling hours Monday 4 - 7 P.M.

Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
