It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Jason C Hines, 48, on November 8th. Jason was born in Lowell and was a long time resident of Tewksbury where he worked for many years alongside his father Ambrose and brother Joe at Patriot Frame and Auto Body.
His artistic nature and creativity blended itself well to his profession in Auto Body.
Jason enjoyed cooking, dancing and listening to music. When he cooked, he did not cut corners or calories. Late night desserts were his specialty, and he was not afraid to add plenty of hot fudge, whipped cream and chocolate chips. He was also an avid fan of the Discovery and History Channels and loved telling tales of mysteries and folklore with his daughter. They bonded over one day seeing the Loch Ness Monster or Bigfoot together.
Jason could not always keep up with his five boys, but he definitely tried. Be it dirt biking, sledding or running around in the backyard, he always enjoyed the time spent outdoors with his sons. Jason enjoyed hiking and camping with his family. And no matter who you were, he could find something to talk with you about.
Jason had the talent of making everyone around him feel special; he met everyone with a big smile, a lot of love and a laugh you won’t quickly forget. He will be greatly missed.
The last 4 years were especially hard for Jason. He suffered the loss of two important people in his life. His brother Joe and more recently his Mother, Shirley. We take comfort in knowing he is now with them and at peace.
He loved his family dearly and leaves behind his children Emilie, Adam, Zachary, Sam, Ethan and Maxwell. Also left to grieve are his father Ambrose, sisters Paula (Jim) Dunn , Carol (Rod) Drohan of Nova Scotia and Nancy (Tim) Hynes of Pepperell and many nieces and nephews.
Jason is predeceased by his Mother, Shirley and brother Joe.
