Tim Ellington, age 58 of Cleveland, departed this life on Monday morning, November 8, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family. Born on September 21, 1963, he was a native and longtime resident of Fitzgerald, Georgia and spent the last five years in Bradley County. Tim was employed by Shaw Industries and was a member of the Cleveland First Church of the Nazarene. He was an avid Georgia fan and enjoyed hunting and fishing, and most of all loved people, and loved talking to his friends and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Mickey Ellington, Sr.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his loving and devoted wife, Patricia Revels Ellington; daughters, Kimberly (Wade) Chaney and Amie (Bradley) Durham; grandchildren, Abbie, Ahlivia, Anna, Carrie, Kaleb, Maddison, Isabella, and faith; mother, Mamie Ruth Ellington; brothers, Tommy (Tammy) Ellington, Tony (Sharon) Ellington, and Toby (Janis) Ellington; sister-in-law, Kim( Tony) Herlovich; brother-in-law, Jonathan Revels; as well as several extended family members and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life and Home going for Timothy Hartwell Ellington will be held at 11AM Thursday, November 11, 2021 at the Fitzgerald Church of the Nazarene located at 323 North Main Street Fitzgerald, GA 31750 with Pastor B.J. Miller officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 10AM until the time of service on Thursday at the church.
