Kevin Patrick Maxwell, 54, walked into heaven on Wednesday, November 3, 2021.
Paralyzed from a diving accident at the age of 19, Kevin lived a full and inspired life that friends and family witnessed, enjoyed and drew strength from for 35 years.
Kevin, in addition to his disability, suffered from polycystic kidney disease, a rare genetic disorder, which combined with his paralysis led to his death. He fought off near death numerous times, to return to a life of happiness and fulfillment.
He leaves three older siblings, Diane, James, Christopher and his wife Debbie, his nieces, nephews, great nieces, a great nephew and many cousins and friends who he inspired (and vice-versa) and most importantly, all of his dedicated caregivers dating back to Rusk Institute in NYC to his “family” at Cowesett Home Care in Warwick.
Kevin was pre-deceased by his loving parents, Everett and Diane Maxwell, who sacrificed everything for Kevin’s comfort and happiness.
Visitation Friday, November 12th,4-7 PM at Anderson-Winfield Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville.
