Barbara (Breakell) Pierce, 75, of New Bedford, died after a lengthy illness on Sunday, November 7th, 2021.
Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late George B. Breakell, Jr., and Corine E. (Milam) Brantley.
Barbara loved crocheting, spending time with her family, and baking cookies especially around the holidays. She was an avid Atlanta Braves fan, and enjoyed listening to Elvis. She had a bird named "Baby" that she adored.
Survivors include her children, Daniel, Phillip, Thomas, and Wendy; siblings, Shirley Tavares, Corine P. Smith and her husband Jerry, Sharon Easton, Pam Breakell, and Doris Breakell; and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She is predeceased by her brother George R. Breakell and her parents.
Her memorial visitation will be held on Friday, November 19th, 2021 from 2-4 PM with a service at 4 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
