Pamela Elizabeth Taylor 73, of Medway died peacefully on November 5 in the MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham with her family with her. She was the beloved companion of Stephen O’Neill of Medway for the past 25 years.
Born in Brighton, November 27, 1947, the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Mary (Hyland) Taylor, Ms. Taylor was raised in Newton and had lived in Medway for the past 47 years.
Pamela had worked for the Town of Medway for many years. She had been Para- Professional in the Medway School System . She had also worked for the Medway Superintendent.
Pamela had also managed Choate Park in Medway and been a bartender at the Village Inn in Medway. Previously she had worked for the DATA General Company.
Pamela loved to garden, cook, fish, knit, sew and was an also a talented artist.
In addition to her companion she is survived by her children, Lisa Maria Sacca of Dracut, Michael Piccinin of Woonsocket, John “Jay” Piccinin of Midlothian, Virginia and Jeffrey Piccinin .
She is also survived by her siblings, Leslie Greco and her husband Frank of Milford and Gregory Taylor of Boston.
Pamela is also survived by her grandchildren, Caitlyn, Samantha, Beth, Jack, Nicolette, Hailey, Katie, Jeffrey, David, Joseph, Jacob, Abbigayle, Hanna and Morgan, and her great-grandchildren, Julissa, Bradley, Alison , and Danielle.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday November 12 in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street, Medway at 5:00 p.m. Burial will be private.
Calling hours will be on Friday from 2- 5p.m.
In lieu of flowers donations my be made in her memory to Medway School Department/Attention Memorial School, 45 Holliston Street, Medway MA 02053.
All donations will be approved by the school committee and go to the children in various after school programs as a scholarship. Pamela was a selfless woman who made sure the needs of children were cared for, to assure they were fed, clothed and had the ability to take part in programs regardless of the affordability. Every child should never feel left out due to the financial affordability of the program.
