Regino Garcia-Cruz, 48, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, November 4, 2021, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia.
A Rosary service will be held at 6 PM, Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with Father Paul O'Connell officiating. Funeral services will be held at 6 PM, Thursday, November 11, 2021, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in FItzgerald, with Pastor Leo Galarza officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in Santa Maria del Oro, Nayarit, Mexico.
Mr. Garcia was born September 3, 1973, in Mexico, to Fermin Garcia Jacobo and Maria Cruz Martinez. He worked as a machine operator for Lippert Components. He was of the Catholic faith.
He is survived by his wife, Pragedis Nunez Hernandez of Fitzgerald; a son, Sergio Jesus Garcia Nunez; a daughter, Margarita Elizabeth Garcia Nunez; a granddaughter, Samantha Briyit Guerrero; two brothers: Jose Garcia Cruz and Juan Garcia Cruz; and a sister, Maria Del Carmen Garcia Cruz.
