Glenn A. Baptista, 60, of Dartmouth went home to be with the Lord on November 5, 2021.
He was the husband of Donna E. (Kinder) Baptista.
Born and raised in New Bedford, son of Elsie L. (Gomes) Baptista of New Bedford and the late Manuel Baptista, he moved to Dartmouth in 2002.
He was employed by Debross Oil for many years and was previously employed at Luzo Food Service for 18 years. He was a member of Teamsters Union Local #59.
It was his passion to minister the gospel of Jesus Christ and the love of God to all. He enjoyed spending all his free time with family and his mornings drinking tea with his best friend and wife of 35 years.
Survivors include his wife; 3 daughters, Amber Baptista-Arias of Dartmouth, Lindelle Baptista of Boston and Moriah Baptista of Dartmouth; a son-in-law Aramis Arias; granddaughter, Simara Arias; a brother, Adam Baptista of New Bedford; his father and Mother-in-law, Don Kinder and Elizabeth Kinder; his Godson Adam Baptista Jr. along with several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Rosalind Andrade.
His family will receive guests from 9 - 10 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford on Saturday, November 13th followed by his Funeral Service at 10 AM. Burial will follow in South Dartmouth Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to His Love Reaching Church - Christmas Boxes, 651 Orchard St. New Bedford, MA 02744.
