In Raynham, November 6, 2021, Lincoln H. DeMoura, husband of Sherry (Schuttauf) DeMoura, passed away following a lengthy illness. Born in Taunton, MA, Lincoln was the son of the late Dr. Lincoln A. DeMoura and Judith A. (Blevins) DeMoura. A graduate of Northeastern University (Magna Cum Laude), Lincoln was at the forefront of computer engineering. His passion, however, was music and he was at his happiest when the helm of his drum set keeping the beat for the world-famous, Taunton-based band Destany. Well renowned for quizzing anyone within earshot about which band is playing the song on the radio, his rhythm and wisdom certainly did not fall short. Lincoln was the loving father of Heather Silva and her husband Dan Silva of Taunton and Lincoln A. DeMoura and his wife Julia DeMoura of Seekonk. He was also the loving grandfather of Victoria Salvador, Lincoln Harrison DeMoura, John Henry DeMoura, and Alexandria DeMoura. Lincoln is survived by his mother Judith (Blevins) DeMoura, brothers Kurt, Doug (Beth), and Eric (Katherine), and many nieces and nephews. Wake and viewing will be held at O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home from 5-7 PM on November 9, 2021 and funeral services will also be held at O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home on Wednesday morning at 11 am followed by a burial service at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton. Repast will follow at Home Plate in Taunton.
