Mary P. (Fox) Girard, 77, of Worcester, died Friday, November 5th. Her husband, Harvey R. Girard, Sr., died in 2014. She is survived by her son, Harvey R. Girard, Jr. of Putnam, CT; two daughters, Linda Girard Potvin of Hubbardston and Mary Rose Girard of Westport, eleven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her six brothers.
Mary was born in Worcester, the daughter of John M. and Rosilda T. (Perron) Fox. She had been employed as a machinist for Parker Manufacturing before retiring. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with friends, but her greatest joy was time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Her funeral is Friday, November 12th from O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with her funeral Mass at 11:00a.m. in St. Peter's Church, 931 Main Street. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
