FALL RIVER… Janis Johnson, 35, of Fall River, MA, passed away, Thursday, October 28, 2021, at her home in Fall River.
She was born May 7, 1986 in Chicago, IL, daughter of Earnest Coleman of Fall River and Marshall Johnson of Shaw, MS, lived in Fall River most of her life.
Janis was a caring, giving and loving person. Janis had an infectious laugh and her energy was contagious. She enjoyed people, amusement parks, being in nature, road trips, swimming and trampolines.
Janis was preceded in death by her daughter, Jahnaijah Johnson Lopes. Janis is survived by a paternal grandparents, Earnest and Nola Coleman; her parents; a daughter Diamond N. Johnson of Fall River; a son, Caden Daughtry of Rockmart, GA; two brothers: Dante Robinson of Woodbridge, VA; Cornelius Pascoe of California; three sisters: Nicole Johnson-Watts of Shreveport, LA; Lydia Falzone of Charlotte, N.C.; LeeAniya Coleman of Fall River, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Janis will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Calling hours will be, Thursday, November 11, 2021, from 9:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. at the SOUTH COAST FUNERAL HOME, 1555 Pleasant Street, Fall River, MA. At the request of the family, the funeral will be private
