Colleran, Joseph R. of Dedham, formerly of Jamaica Plain passed away on November 3, 2021. Joseph is the beloved husband of the late Rosalie (Aprille) Colleran. Faithful Step father of Joseph McCaig and his wife Patricia of Ayer, William F. McCaig and his wife Kathleen of Dedham and Michelle Ryan and her husband John of Dedham. He is the brother of the late William F. Colleran. Loving grandfather of Joseph, Lauren, Molly, Billy, Daniel, John, Adam and one great-grand daughter, Gianna Marie. He is survived by his devoted friend, Susan French of Dedham. He is also survived by his two children from his first marriage, Joseph and Loretta Colleran and their children.
Joe was a Carpenter by trade, he worked many years as a Carpenter for the Boston Fire Department. He later went and started his own ceiling business as J & B Acoustics.
Visiting hours at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St. Dedham on Wednesday, November 10th from 10 AM-12 Noon followed by a funeral service at 12 Noon.
