Remembering the life of Lisa K. (Ryan) Winters, 53, of Anderson died November 3, 2021 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born March 20, 1968, the daughter of Donald G. and Thelma "Kay" (Givens) Ryan. She graduated from Lapel High School in 1986. She became a hairstylist early on, worked at the city of Noblesville and served in the medical field for 15 years as a Medical Assistant.
She loved spending time with her family the most. She enjoyed camping and singing and taking golf cart rides in the country. She was brave and funny and smart. Being Gammie to her grandbabies was one of her greatest joys. She had a strong sense of self and a great faith in God. Her favorite scripture "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:7
She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Jason A. Winters; her father, Donald Ryan; daughter, Brittni Carpenter all of Anderson; son, Darian Winters of Noblesville; three grandchildren, Aksel Carpenter, Elzie Carpenter and Snow Winters; sister, Lynn Clymer of Anderson; niece, Shelby Collins; great nieces and nephew, Marley, Aubrey, Wesley and Milly; former husband, Skeeter Henry of Anderson.
Lisa was preceded in death by her mother.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 8, 2021 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. Burial will be in Forrestville Cemetery in Summitville.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
