Vincenza (Tina) Petriello formerly Todesca, 83, of Roslindale, MA passed away peacefully on November 2, 2021 with her supportive family by her side. She was born in Italy on March 2, 1938 to the late Alfredo and Terese (Mazzarella) Todesca. Tina moved to America at the age of 16. She was the dedicated wife of Attilio Petriello, husband of 63 years and devoted mother to Anthony Petriello, Theresa and husband Michael Alessandro, and Alfredo Petriello. She was the caring and loving grandmother to Jessica & Joseph Rinella, Shana Petriello & fiancé, Judd Hoffman, Steven and Michelle Alessandro and Paolo Petriello. She was the dedicated sister of Charles Todesco (Elena), Carmelina Abruzzese (Joseph), the late Maria Todesca and late Antonio Todesca (Lauretta). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A dedicated homemaker and gardener, Tina cared deeply for her family and it showed in her love of cooking the many favorite meals she always had prepared and ready. Visitation will be from 9:00 am - 10:30 am on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Joseph Russo Funeral Home, 814 American Legion Highway, Roslindale, MA. Same day funeral mass on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 11:00 am, Sacred Heart Church, Roslindale, MA. The burial will take place immediately after funeral mass at the Mt. Benedict Cemetery in West Roxbury, MA. Donations can be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
