Edith T. Nadell, 92, of Whitman, MA passed away peacefully on November 2, 2021 after a brief illness.
Born in Boston, MA in 1929, she graduated from Weymouth High School in 1947.
A stay-at-home Mom for many years, she returned to the work force as a secretary at Andrews and Pierce Trucking Company in Abington, Massachusetts, and at Auburn Construction Company in Whitman, Massachusetts.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Lloyd S. Nadell, her daughter Carol A. Stygles and her husband Jack Stygles of Titusville, FL, her sons David L. Nadell and his wife Laura of Whitman, MA, Donald R. Nadell of Lebanon, TN, and Richard E. Nadell and his wife Kathleen of Brockton, MA. She also leaves behind 5 grandchildren, Christopher Nadell, Richard S Nadell, Matthew Nadell, Robert Nadell, and Sarah Nadell. She was blessed to share in the life of her great granddaughter, Elinora (Nora) Nadell.
Relatives and friends are invited to visitation on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 12 p.m. at the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, 666 Plymouth St. (Route 58 at the rotary) Whitman, MA. Burial at Saint James Cemetery in Whitman, MA will be held immediately following the Funeral Service.
