Richard Brown, age 56, of Marshfield and formerly of Weymouth passed away after a lengthy illness on Friday, October 29, 2021. Rich was raised and educated in Weymouth where he graduated Weymouth South High in 1982.
Rich is remembered as a fun-loving soul, who lived life with gusto and was always friendly and ready with a joke. He was extremely generous with his spirit and love. Rich lived a hard life through illnesses, but even when he was in his last days, he was capable of great kindness, humor, and love. Rich grew up in the Homestead neighborhood in Weymouth and remained devoted to his friends and family from there all his life.
Rich is the beloved brother to Laurie Brown, Steven Brown, and the late David Brown, proud father of Michelle Fotev, and husband of Charlene Healy.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the funeral service for Richard at the Old South Union Church located at 25 Columbian St. S. Weymouth, MA on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 12:30pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hope Beyond Hope at 28 Front St. Weymouth, MA 02188.
