In East Taunton, October 29, 2021 Robert Gouvia beloved husband of Brenda (Mello) Gouvia died suddenly at his home at the age of 74. Born in Newport, RI, Robert was the son of the late Anthony and Beatrice (Arujo) Gouvia. Robert was a retired Linesman for Verizon. He enjoyed playing pool and spending time with his family. Robert was the loving father of Stephen Gouvia and his wife Kelly of Berkley, Jeffrey Gouvia of Taunton and Lisa Gouvia of Fall River. Grandfather of Deanna, James, Jeffery, Allysa Gouvia and Kaylee Petinko. A private graveside service was held at Cedar Knoll Cemetery in East Taunton.
