Michael J. “Mike” Power, age 43, of Winthrop passed away on Saturday, October 30th. Raised and educated in Medford, he was the son of Karen (Cahill) and the late Joseph M. Power. Mike worked for many years as a server and manager in the restaurant business. He was an avid reader and loved watching classic TV shows and movies, then talking to his brother-in-law Carl about "their" favorite shows. Mike always looked forward to preparing for, and spending the holidays with, his family and friends.
Mike is survived by two devoted daughters; Alyssa and Emily Aloise, and their mother Karen of Salem, New Hampshire. He was the dear brother of Jennifer Iacopucci and her husband Carl of Medford, and the cherished uncle of Christa Iacopucci. Mike is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with Mike’s family on Tuesday, November 9th from 4 through 7 PM in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. A memorial mass will be celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, on Wednesday, November 10th at 11 AM. Interment will be private.
