Robert A. Couture, aka “Pepe” or “Pollack” age 71, passed away on Oct. 28, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 24, 1950 in Springfield, a son of the late Roger and Aletha (DeShane) Couture. Robert served in the US Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran. He later worked as fork lift driver and shipper for Hasbro for many years before he retired. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Linda A. (Mason) Couture of Chicopee; his daughter Carissa Lisee of Chicopee; his brother David Couture and his wife Debra of Chicopee; his sister Janet Larkin and her husband David of Chicopee; two beloved grandsons Owen and Ryan along with many nieces and nephews and his beloved dogs Rosie and Maxwell. He is predeceased by his mother in law whom he was very close to, Evelyn Mason along with his best friend George Durand and his dogs Bruno and Annabelle. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021 from 2:00 – 5:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 8, from 10:00 – 11:00 at the Grise Funeral Home followed by a Memorial Mass in St Rose de Lima Church at 11:30 AM with burial to follow in the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
